The Fermentorium

Find yourself a great Mexican Style Lager and grab a taco, it’s Cinco de Mayo! Last week we posted a full Mexican feast, including a classic lime Margarita, if you don’t like Tequila, we haven’t forgot you though. One of our favorite local breweries, the Fermentorium, makes a great Mexican Style Lager called Sombrilla. We might be a bit biased since we spend a lot of time there but this little lager has made a great addition to our taco tuesdays!

This week is also our Anniversary and we were married at the Fermentorium in 2017. Beer, bbq and family – it was an amazing day! We’ve been members of their mug club for a few years and have tried just about everything they have on tap. In 2019 they opened a second location about 30 minutes south of us and expanded their product line. When family comes to visit, the Fermentorium is always one of our first stops. We even taught GG that the best way to spend time at a brewery is to get a flight.

If you’re in the Cedarburg, WI area, make sure you find time to stop at this great local brewery. They usually have at least 15 different beers on tap, so you’re likely to find something you love. Get a flight though, and try a few, you won’t regret it. They also have pop for the kids, Press alcoholic beverages and food items including pizza and boneless wings.

We always have a few of their beers in the fridge, and I may have about a dozen pint glasses kicking around! We gave them away to anyone who came to the wedding, and I ended up with a few extra.
