Lay the hot dog flat on a cutting board and make a 1 inch cut at either end of the dog
Rotate the dog 180 degrees and make another 1 inch cut at either end, if you hold the dog up, there should be a cross cut at each end of the dog
Place the hot dog on a roasting stick and hold it over the campfire until it is cooked to your likingPro Tip: if the fire has been burning for a bit, the area near the coals will be the hottest and will crisp up the "legs" of your spider best
Notes
The hot dogs will cook fastest and crisp up on the legs nicely if the fire has been going for a bit. The crispy legs are the best part and perfect for dipping in your favorite condiment.
